Implementing Industry 4.0 control systems to existing and/or new machines allows an engineer to remotely connect to the machine’s computer control system via a programmable logic controller (PLC) to make any program changes to the machine. The system also allows clients to view various machine statistics remotely and receive messages if a fault occurs. Real-time data is recorded allowing for easier tracking of downtime and production, and alarms or warning messages can be configured should a problem with the machine occur or to support planning maintenance.
