Our Process

At Georg UK, we have devised a standard approach for delivering a project which provides a clear process for our customers. Underpinned by strong project management, key phases of our approach include: establishing customer requirements; creating the conceptual design; generating the functional specification (including mechanical, electrical and software design); build; integration; testing; and installation.

Design

We embed cost considerations into the design process allowing us to accurately forecast costs and provide customers with more transparent and reliable quotes upfront. Designing the solution enables us to provide detailed quotes upfront, providing customers with confidence in our proposed solution.

Costing/Proposal

By incorporating design work into the costing phase we de-risk projects for both our customers and ourselves. By investing time and resources to create comprehensive engineering solutions and accurate quotes, we minimise the likelihood of costly surprises or delays during build, test and commissioning stages.

Build/Assembly

During the build and assembly phase we use the facilities in our in-house manufacturing workshop to build machines to agreed customer specifications. Our workshops includes a software and electrical facility, machining facility, preparation and refurbishment areas, assembly units, and in-house spray booth.

Testing

Georg UK takes a comprehensive approach to pre-commissioning testing before on-site delivery to customer premises. We undertake full Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to a validation schedule and standard agreed with customers.

Delivery

Specialist transportation suppliers are used to ship machines to our customer’s premises. Precise planning ensures carefully handling during loading onto the vehicle and it is is suitably packed for safety with fixings and bracings to avoid damage during transit.

Commissioning

Following installation at a customer’s site, our rigorous testing regime is repeated to ensure that the equipment is fit-for-purpose immediately after delivery. Our engineers provide comprehensive on-site support during initial use of the machine, particularly during initial ‘equipment under test’ validation. This hands-on assistance demonstrates our dedication to providing customers with equipment they can have full confidence in.

Training

A mixture of training manuals, practical hands-on exercises, and walk-through commentary videos ensures customers are fully trained in using our machinery effectively. This training is delivered either at our training facility or at the customer’s premises.

After-sales support

Post commissioning, we offer customers after-sales support which includes service support on site, spares service supported by technical advice.
