This month, Heinrich Georg (UK) Limited celebrates 20 years at its current premises on the Dunstall Hill Estate in Wolverhampton. Officially opened by Gerd Georg on 24 January 2006, the relocation marked a significant milestone in the company’s history.
The move from Springvale Industrial Park in Bilston to larger, modern facilities in the north of Wolverhampton enabled the business to build on its heritage in the manufacture of steel and aluminium process equipment. Since then, Georg UK has evolved into one of the UK’s market leaders in custom-built, automated engineering solutions and manufacturers of industry-leading Dynamometers and Test Rigs.
Over the past two decades, the Wolverhampton site has been expanded to include three large units, housing manufacturing and refurbishment workshops, an electronics workshop, testing facilities, paint facilities, a training room, and technical design services.
The Georg UK team has also grown to 20 highly skilled employees whose combined expertise delivers complex bespoke machinery projects for customers across a wide range of industries.
Andrew Cheadle, Managing Director of Georg UK said:
“Following the promotion of internal staff, we begin 2026 with a new management team who will drive the next chapter of the company’s development. This will further strengthen our position in the UK market and enhance the services we deliver to our customers.”
