Georg UK are pleased to announce the supply of a new Dynamometer test rig to University College London (UCL) for the testing of motors and generators.

Following successful acceptance testing at our Wolverhampton facility, the machine has now been delivered to UCL East where it is currently being used for numerous applications.

Advanced Propulsion Lab

University College London have recently invested in a new Campus, UCL East. One of the new laboratories, the Advanced Propulsion Lab (APL), will be a global centre of excellence dedicated to the decarbonisation of the transport sector, specialising in battery and fuel cell electric vehicles.

The UCL dynamometer is designed for high-speed machine characteristics, test, and measurement for various applications and can operate up to 14,000 rpm and 96kW continuous power.

Anyone interested in using the facility should contact Dr Mark Buckwell (Lab Manager) or Dr Mehdi Baghdadi / Dr Pedram Asef (Academic Team) for further information.
