Celebrating Dan’s First Year at Georg UK
general

Dan Webb, our trainee design engineer, has completed his first year with Heinrich Georg UK.

During the last 12 months, Dan has made remarkable strides both in his academic achievements and his professional development, proving to be a valuable asset to the team.

Dan is completing a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering and will continue his studies in September. He is also applying for membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). His studies complement the practical experience he receives at Georg UK, reinforcing his theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

During the year, Dan has contributed to several significant aerospace projects. He’s been given the unique opportunity to install designs on-site at customer premises and has also participated in assembly work of special purpose machinery within our workshop. This hands-on experience is instrumental in honing his technical skills, providing him with valuable insights into the practical aspects of the role.

Andy Cheadle, Project Manager at Georg UK said: “Dan has worked hard and diligently over the last year and has quickly become a valued member of our in-house design team. We look forward to supporting Dan as he continues his HNC studies and takes on new projects within Georg UK.”
