At a time when long-term commitment to a single employer has become increasingly rare, Andy Logie stands out as a remarkable exception. This month [April], Andrew celebrates an impressive 30 years with Heinrich Georg (UK) Limited. His journey has been one of dedication and significant contributions to the company’s success.
Andrew’s journey with Georg UK began in 1995 when he joined the company as a young shop floor machinist eager to make his mark in the industry. Over the years, his expertise and leadership skills have propelled him through various roles culminating in his current position as Operations Manager. In this capacity, Andy is instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company including logistics and shop floor management whilst nurturing a culture where staff feel empowered to contribute their best.
Reflecting on his 30 years with Georg UK, Andy said:
“The opportunities I’ve had to grow professionally and the relationships I’ve built here have made the journey incredibly fulfilling.”
Colleagues including Roger Jones who hired Andy in 1995 and Clive Beese, both of whom have retired, gathered for a special lunch to celebrate this milestone, reminiscing about memorable moments in Andy’s career.
The Georg Group extend their congratulations and gratitude for his three decades of service and to many more years to come.
