Clive Beese, Sales Director at Georg UK, announces his retirement on 18 December 2024 after 19 years with the company.

Clive joined Georg UK in 2006 initially in the design office followed by projects management, and finally becoming Sales Director. He previously worked for 15 years at KCS Herr Voss/Stamco.

Reflecting on his career, Clive said:

“It has been a privilege to work alongside a talented team at Georg UK. I’ve worked on many memorable projects including a steel making mill with processing lines which formed part of a multi-million-pound investment in Saudi Arabia. I’ve also had the opportunity to work in Japan, South Africa, USA, Sweden, Austria, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Turkey and, of course, Germany. As I take a step back, I’m confident that my colleagues are well positioned to take over the reins.”

Neil Wyke, Managing Director at Georg UK, said:

“Clive has many years’ engineering experience, particularly in coil processing, and over the years has demonstrated both dedication and leadership. Clive has been instrumental in the company’s growth and in developing innovative solutions for our customers. He will be greatly missed.”

As part of the company’s succession planning, Clive will be returning to an internal focused role as a consultant on key projects, ensuring his wealth of knowledge and experience is shared across the team of up-and-coming engineers and project managers at Georg UK.
