Georg UK welcomed our first all-electric van this week as part of our continued efforts to reduce our impact on the environment.

The SAIC Maxus eDeliver 3 van is not only all electric with zero emissions but is highly efficient and reliable, with a spacious interior allowing plenty of room for our engineers to transport parts and tools when visiting customers’ sites.

For some time now we have run a fleet of electric cars and have installed a number of wall-mounted charging points which are used by staff as well as visitors visiting our Wolverhampton headquarters.

The new van marks the next key step in the company reducing its impact on the environment which has also included installing LED lighting across our site, adding timers to air conditioning units helping to reduce energy consumption by 32% and reducing paper usage by over 150%!
