Throughout 2025 and 2026, Heinrich Georg UK have been proud to support Nottingham Drives Specialist Services (NDSS) based at the Power Electronics and Machines Centre (PEMC), University of Nottingham by providing increased functionality to their test capabilities.
By providing upgrades and supporting modifications to the multi-dyno suite of equipment that was supplied by Georg UK in 2021, the PEMC has been able to increase the availability of its state-of-the-art test equipment to potential users in industry and academia.
Test rig system upgrades implemented by Georg UK over the past 12-months include Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) modifications, improvements to motor drives, the addition of hardware in the loop control, and separation of common test rigs to create standalone test cells.

NDSS are an independent business unit wholly owned by the University of Nottingham. They deliver effective and efficient services to industry to support the industrialisation of power electronic converters, electrical machines and drives.
