This week, Georg UK was pleased to welcome Pia Schreiber, an apprentice at Heinrich Georg GmbH.

Pia joined Heinrich Georg GmbH in August 2024 as a trainee industrial clerk and has recently completed a four-week, summer internship in the UK, organised by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Her areas of focus during her trainee period includes administrative tasks around marketing, import and export mechanisms, finance processes and human resources.

Pia was able to explore our headquarters in Wolverhampton and learn more about Georg UK’s involvement in various Test Rigs, Coil Processing and Hydraulic Power projects across industries including Academia and Aerospace, strengthening her understanding of the UK arm of the Georg Group.

The visit was arranged as part of the ongoing commitment to strengthen knowledge-sharing between the German headquarters in Kreuztal and Heinrich Georg GmbH’s only site in the UK.
