Chris Hearty

Heinrich Georg (UK) Limited, one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of special purpose machines and programmable dynamometers, is pleased to announce the recruitment of new Control Systems Engineer, Chris Hearty.

Strengthening our Technical Team and Electrical Design Capabilities

Chris Hearty joined our Wolverhampton-based team in June 2026 and will boost the capability of Georg UK’s existing control systems design department. He will be involved in electrical design and control systems commissioning across various Georg equipment, including special purpose machinesdynamometers and coil processing equipment.

Chris brings strong technical experience in Siemens PLC programming, S7-1500 and S7-1200 controllers, WinCC HMI and WinCC Unified HMI and ladder programming, along with hands-on experience working with Siemens drives including G120 and S120 systems.

A solid working knowledge of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations (UK) and the EU Machinery Directive also ensures that Georg UK systems will continue to be developed and implemented in line with the very latest safety standards.

Chris’ experience across a range of industries will supplement Georg UK’s existing team of multi-skilled engineers.

Andy Cheadle, Managing Director at Georg UK, said:

“Bringing on board someone of Chris’ capabilities and experience is a massive development for Georg UK and one that allows us to expand our capacity for supporting customers with the latest software and automation projects.”

A big welcome from everyone at Georg UK!
