Heinrich Georg (UK) Limited, the UK arm of Germany’s leading engineering company, is reassuring customers that Brexit, the UK’s exit from the European Union on 29 March 2019, is expected to have minimal impact on their operations which will continue as usual.
At Georg UK we manufacture all of our machines in Wolverhampton, in the heart of the Black Country where there remains a hub of small fabrication and engineering companies.
Neil Wyke, managing director, explains: “Whilst we are part of a global company, we manufacture all our machines in the UK and fabricate bespoke components in-house or use local suppliers. We therefore expect little direct impact from Brexit, however, some of our customers such as those in the automotive and aerospace sectors, are already experiencing repercussions from Brexit.”
Georg UK will remain compliant with all existing ISO quality processes plus machinery safety standards and will update these as new ones are introduced post-Brexit.
If customers have any concerns or queries, please contact Neil Wyke on 01902 715110.
