Georg UK is delighted to have passed their ISO 9001:2015 certification following an external audit before Christmas.
Quality processes are at the heart of Georg UK. Precisely capturing a customer’s requirements enables machines to be designed and built to the agreed specification, with procedures in place to manage change requests during the project.
Neil Wyke, managing director of Georg UK, said: “We continue to improve and streamline our systems and processes to ensure that all our projects, especially the design and build of new machines, are undertaken to the highest standards and meet our customer’s expectations.”
“Well done to the team for maintaining our quality records and to all our staff for adhering to both our quality and safety processes and practices.”
Georg UK is currently working towards achieving BS ISO 14001 environmental management system covering their day to day practices and machines.
In addition, during 2020, Georg UK upgraded a range of safety devices on site including accident/spill kits; bins; new emergency lighting; updated crane and forklift truck inspection test procedures; safety access ladders; access and scaffolding platforms; new fire doors; fire-safe air conditioning; new heat sensors in the factory; and a range of new hand tools.
