Georg UK, the UK arm of one of Germany’s leading engineering companies, has invested in a new state-of-the-art paint and finishing facility at their manufacturing headquarters in Wolverhampton.
The new paint spray facility was installed by Cannock based Rowley Spray Booths who have over 40 years’ experience in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of spray booth ovens.
The new midi spray booth provides an upgraded finishing facility for the in-house manufactured, custom machines. The spray paint facility includes a ventilated paint preparation and storage room, spray booth and heating facility.
The spray booth provides a controlled, clean environment which is free from dust. The spray booth incorporates a tunnel airflow design providing excellent paint over spray mist clearance during spraying operations. All equipment complies with latest Health and Safety, Environment Protection Act (EPA) and European Paint Directives.
Neil Wyke, managing director, at Georg UK said: “We’re delighted with the new paint facility which facilitates our move to using only water-based paints as standard for our machines. This is a key step in our commitment to improving our company’s environmental performance.”
